September Tips

this month you should...

  • Plant mums in the third week of September.  This is also a prime time for reseeding fescue.
  • The last week of September is a good time to scalp your lawn and apply rye seed.
  • Replace any dead plants at this time.
  • Order your fall flowers, fertilize your lawn and start applying fall pre-emergent.
  • Sprinklers should be set to water 3-4 times per week.
